Water is your roof’s biggest enemy and Fargo gives it plenty of opportunities to get in. At Roof Keepers we identify exactly where your roof is vulnerable, fix the problem at the source, and apply the right waterproofing solution to protect your home through every season. No guessing, no unnecessary work, just honest assessments and lasting results.
Most roof leaks don’t announce themselves with a drip in the middle of your living room. They start small, often at a cracked pipe boot, failing flashing, or a compromised valley, and they work their way inward slowly. By the time you notice a water stain on your ceiling the damage has usually been building for months. That is why we start every job with a thorough inspection to find exactly where water is getting in before we recommend anything.
This is real damage from a Fargo home where a failed pipe boot went unnoticed long enough to completely rot through the roof decking. What started as a small crack in a rubber seal turned into a full decking replacement before a new roof could even go on. When we find damage like this we don’t just patch over it. We remove the rotted material, replace the decking, apply a proper waterproof barrier, and make sure the source of the intrusion is fixed so it never happens again.
Replacing rotted decking and re-waterproofing the surface is only half the job. If the pipe boot that caused the damage in the first place is still cracked and failing, you will be back in the same situation within a few years. Every waterproofing repair we do addresses the root cause first. We replace the failed component, install new decking where needed, apply ice and water barrier, and make sure everything above it is sealed correctly before we leave your property. And if your shingles are aging but still have good structure, we may recommend a Roof Maxx rejuvenation treatment to restore their ability to shed water effectively and buy you several more years of protection at a fraction of replacement cost

We had concerns about a slumping spot on our roof and they came out within a day to do an assessment that gave us peace of mind. They also did a fine job of clearing tree branches off the roof to prevent them from damaging shingles. Xander was great to work with. All in all a five star experience.Posted on Google Brad OlsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Everyone was very professional.Posted on Google Scotti FriederichsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Last week our neighbor told us he could see our roof had a hole in it from his deck. Today I called Roof Keepers and Zac said he would send Zander out to tell us how bad the damage was - same day. Zander was awesome, gave us photos, great advice, and did an excellent job. We will be calling the Roof Keepers team for any future roofing needs. I think their maintenance package is also a really smart, affordable idea for any other homeowners that don't like getting on their roof. Better to get frequent inspections than get blindsided with a preventable issue that can cost you a ton in the future.Posted on Google Brian batesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had them patch a few shingles that took a few hits during a recent storm. They came out the next day after I called to inspect and they fixed it the very next day super easy to deal with. Would like to say that there are also very affordable. Would happily recommend them to anybodyPosted on Google Jenna CorbettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with this roofing company. They came out promptly and performed a thorough, free hail inspection without any pressure or sales tactics. While they were on my roof, they also took the time to cover some exposed rusty nails that could have become a problem down the road. I really appreciated their honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy roofing company.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Q: What does waterproofing actually mean for a roof?
A: True roof waterproofing comes from the layers installed under your shingles, specifically ice and water barrier and synthetic underlayment. These are your roof’s last line of defense against moisture. Shingles shed water but they are not waterproof on their own.
Q:Do you install ice and water barrier on every roof?
A: Yes. Every full replacement we do includes ice and water barrier along the eaves and in valleys where water is most likely to back up. It is a critical component of any properly installed Fargo roof.
Q: Does Roof Maxx make my roof waterproof?
A: Roof Maxx is not a waterproof coating, but what it does is restore the natural oils in your asphalt shingles that allow them to shed water the way they were designed to when they were new. As shingles age they dry out, crack, and lose that ability. Roof Maxx brings it back. If your roof has active leak points we will identify and fix those separately so your entire system is working together to protect your home.
Q: How do I know if my underlayment is still protecting my roof?
A: You generally cannot tell without getting on the roof. During our complimentary inspection we assess the condition of your shingles, flashings, and any visible underlayment at exposed edges to give you a complete picture of your roof’s protection.
